Book Donations Acceptance Policy
The Friends of the New Braunfels Public Library, Inc. gladly accepts gently used books of all kinds, magazines, puzzles, maps, children's books, music CDs, VHS tapes, DVD and Blu-Ray movies. We are thankful to our patrons who donate to the bookstore and Annual Book Sale and support our library through our sales of gently, used books.
We have a hard-working group of volunteers who give tirelessly of their time and effort (8,188 reported volunteer hours in 2015). The result from this dedication? We raise an average of $60,000 annually and pay for all of the programming that you love at our library. Your book donations make all of our efforts possible and are most appreciated.

Thank you again for all of your support. Your book donations make a difference in the quality of life for the citizens of our community. The Friends turn your book donations into revenue to pay for the programming at the New Braunfels Public Library--from early childhood literacy initiatives like 1000 Books Before Kindergarten to Summer Reading Programs for children, teens and adults; from the Friday Afternoon Classic Movie Series to the popular Danny O'Flaherty concerts; from the Knitting in Public to the Robotics Teams; from Book Clubs to Gentle Pilates. Your donations and generous support help us fund these programs and many more. Thanks!
